Director at large, supporting the Nuts and Cakes Campaign and providing general tech support for some of our gatherings.

I have been married to Lynn for over 50 years and we have raised two great kids, Ryan and Delaney, who have become adults of whom we are both proud. My parents modeled service in the community and to the family. In the early 1980s I co-founded an anti-nuke group, West Islanders for Nuclear Disarmament (WIND). In the late 1980s through the 1990s I was active in my children's schools, serving on and chairing various parent committees. From the late 1990s to the present, I have been involved in Mankind Project of Canada (MKP) here in Quebec, serving in a variety of positions, including Centre Director. Since the late 2010s I have served as Quebec’s representative to MKP Canada’s Board where I also hold the diversity portfolio. In the late 2000s I was a founding director of Boys to Men Canada, serving as Secretary and currently as Board Chair.

I was introduced to Kiwanis by Jag NaraSimhaDevara, whom I met when we were both serving on Lachine’s Canada Day Committee. I found a group of people dedicated to raising money for youth programs. As this is very close to my heart, I decided to join and have not regretted it. If you want to support our young people and have just a little time, consider Kiwanis and contact us at info@lakeshorekiwanis.ca. You will be welcome as a volunteer or as a member and you will find a group of people who have fun while raising money for important youth organizations.

I’ve learned that people will forget what you have said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
