Science Yourself! No G's About It!

We Are Going! From Earth to the Moon and All Things Between and Beyond.

Dianea is a former teacher and consultant with the Lester B. Pearson School Board (Montreal) and the Kativik School Board located in Nunavik. She is a graduate of McGill University (B. Ed.), a PPCC certified professional life coach (Concordia University), a certified Adventures in Wisdom youth coach (Austin, Texas), and an entrepreneur-owner and operator of Science Yourself! No G’s About It!; and the STEAMGENUITY Girls’ Space Program. Dianea is an alumnus of Space Camp and has achieved certifications from the US Space & Rocket Centre (Huntsville, Alabama). She holds a certification from the Zero G Corporation Teachers in Space-Weightless Microgravity Flight Program. Her space work continues with the Magnitude.io Leguminaut Plants in Space program, working in collaboration with Springdale Elementary School. 

Dianea is the volunteer education President at the Montreal Aviation Museum.

She has provided more than 25 years of presentations and workshops at JSCH (Johnson Space Centre Houston) and has trained over 20,000 educators during her career. In February 2021, she was selected as a member of the elite SEEC CREW team at the Johnson Space Centre’s Space Exploration Educators Conference. As a SEEC CREW member, she serves as a lead space STEM educator in the province of Quebec and a global ambassador.

In February 2023, she was awarded the Cherri Brinley Outstanding Educator Award for outstanding contributions to "Space Education" at the Johnson Space Centre in Houston, Texas. She is the first recipient of the Indigenous Stardust Festival 2023 STEM+ Outreach - Excellence Legacy Award - Stardust Festival Timmins Ontario. 

Dianea is a recognized DKG International and ISF speaker. She works in partnerships with teachers, schools, and community programs to support content development, teacher facilitation, mentoring, parent talks, and home support. Her education outreach partnerships extend from the island of Montreal across the globe to Mexico, Brazil, the Philippines, South Africa, Thailand, and more.
