I initially joined Kiwanis in the mid-80s and was elected to the board. Later due to job requirements, I moved away to Nunavut where I worked for the Government of Canada, as a regional manager-Informatics, and for the Government of Nunavut as a Justice of the Peace for 15 years. There I was involved in helping aboriginal Inuit non-profit organizations like: Illitteet Society and halfway house for young children.

I was born in a philanthropic family where helping others is a thing to do; hence Kiwanis fits the bill. As a Kiwanian I was involved in a few projects in the past; notably, the educational kitchen at then PSBGM school board (Lakeside Academy now), which is still in operation, as well as housing for unwed mothers and school lunch program.

I am involved with AJOI and RICOCHET organizations on their board, helping west island Kids.

I am married to Sudha and have two great kids and two grandkids. I am presently retired.

I am delighted to be associated with the Lakeshore Kiwanis family and its wonderful members to help our communities in whichever way I can.
