20th Annual Kiwanis Golf Tournament

Our 20th Annual Kiwanis Golf Tournament is our other major fundraiser and took place on June 18, 2019 at the newly renovated Summerlea Golf & Country Club. This tournament again raised in excess of $20,000.00; a huge accomplishment considering the loss of our most prolific fundraiser, the late Peter Bedard who has been a member since the very beginning of our club.

During the Dinner that followed, it was announced the tournament would now be called the “Peter Bedard Memorial Kiwanis Golf Tournament”, a fitting tribute to an amazing Kiwanian!

This event involves a dedicated coordinating team who reach out to the golfers, secure silent auction prizes, advertising and sponsorships besides coordinating with volunteers and actually golfing and dining with our friends and generous supporters. This event benefited from the support of the Bedard family and Legendary Radio Morning Man, Terry DiMonte of CHOM FM. Mr. DiMonte has graciously agreed to be the Honourary Chair of our 2020 Golf Tournament!
