Mid-Summer Soiree

Our annual MSS is a social event to inform the community of our club and what we do as well as serving as our main Membership Drive. Held at the magnificent Stewart Hall in Pointe Claire on August 28th, the event was attended by about 100 people including numerous Kiwanis members. Special guest was Rhonda Massad of the West Island Blog. Working together with our newest member Daniel Khoury, they interviewed a number of our beneficiary organizations who explained how important our financial support is to help sustain their important work in the community.

Musical entertainment was provided by one of the beneficiary organizations, Overture with the Arts; OWTA makes art available to youth at little or no cost. The very talented 17 year old Emily performed at this event for the third time and has benefitted from their (OWTA) programs; even at this young age, she has already been performing for a number of years. Thanks to Christian Aubert, our President at the helm and numerous volunteers assisting our Kiwanis Event Team, the evening was a tremendous success ".
