The 2019 Holiday Sales Campaign

The 2019 Holiday Sales Campaign encompassing the sales of our renowned Nuts & Cakes as well as several other delicious edibles took place over the period from October 1st through December 31st with requests still coming in through the month of January. This is one of our two major fundraising endeavours each year and raised well over $20,000.00 thanks to the inspired leadership of a few and the support of all the members and some friends.

The process involves a very well streamlined action plan entailing ordering, packaging, receiving and stocking the items even before any sales take place. Once the sales begin there are the very well-coordinated tasks of contacting our regular clients and arranging the deliveries, manning over 30 location sales and the countless individual deliveries all over the Montreal area; then of course is managing the accounting. This is a huge effort on everyone’s part and, as our chief nut person himself says, “it’s all for the kids”
